We’re reaching out to you to let you know about our FREE advertising campaign available to you to help support you and your business amidst the coronavirus crisis.
As a local business, we want to do our part to help ease the suffering of other local businesses able to stay open and serve the public through this disaster. In a very short period of time, local commerce has slowed nearly to a halt, and we are entering into a unique era of an even greater need for online connections resulting from the Stay at Home Order to ensure public health and safety.
Other local and government businesses are doing their part too: The City of Solvang removed penalties and promised not to shut off the water, sewer, power, and gas to any partners regardless of their ability to pay their bills; bank lenders are offering extensions on loans; restaurants, grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and other food purveyors are working overtime to ensure no one goes hungry.
We, as the Solvang Journal, want to do something that will help our local businesses by giving them the opportunity to let the public know that they’re still open and available to the community. That is why we’re offering free add spaces to Solvang businesses.

A little more about Solvang Journal: we are a startup publication providing a new voice for Solvang and the surrounding community. We are growing day by day and reached an average of 350 visitors per day and receive nearly 11K clicks per month and close to 20K page views in total. Our readers are women (60%) ad men (40%) located within a 25 miles radius from Solvang. ( Solvang, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Buelton, Lompoc )
Our current hardcopy distribution is via mail, as well as free pick up from grocery stores total of nearly 4,000 copies to nearly every household and business in Solvang and throughout the Santa Ynez Valley.
